WWI Introduction

Why we continue to Honour Veterans

In a 1 hour-1.5 hour program we look at the contributions of Billy Bishop to WWI and WWII and his significance as a local, national and international hero. WWI and WWII historic information is looked at in a simple timeline. The changing role of women at home and overseas is examined. Group discussion include: what is freedom and what freedom means in the world today, as well as why should we continue to remember the veterans of WWI and WWII.
