Billy Bishop Home and Museum

The Billy Bishop Home and Museum in Owen Sound Ontario Canada is the birthplace of William Avery "Billy" Bishop, V.C., this country's most famous WWI flying ace.

Billy Bishop dedicated his life to aviation. By his skill and daring he became, at 24, Britain's leading air ace, Commander of the first Canadian Air Force, and one of the most decorated Canadians in World War I.

Our Museum features artifacts from Canadians who fought in the air during World War One and World War Two.

See our General Information page for information on hours, admission, events and other news. Drop into The Hanger for memorabilia, aviation materials and more!
