Our Collections & Exhibits

In order to always provide for an interesting and informative visit, we at the museum are consistently updating our exhibits. This year the museum brings to you exciting new exhibits that incorporate learning activities built right in for an optimal learning experience. With 'never been seen' artifacts and new information you'll want to visit the museum often!

The Museum

The Bishop home was dedicated as a Museum in 1987 in memory of Air Marshal William Avery Bishop, VC, CB, DSO and Bar, MC, DFC, and others whose contribution served to protect our freedom. The museum is dedicated to maintaining and preserving Canada's aviation history.

The Billy Bishop Home and Museum has specially designated rooms for the display of World War I and II artifacts. These displays include uniforms, medals, a tribute to the Red Baron, photos, models, etc. The personal possessions of Billy and his family, including original Victorian furnishings, are also presented throughout the house.
