Heritage Day and Veteran's Commemoration Day

Billy Bishop Heritage Day - Veteran's Commemoration Day is taking place on Saturday, June 4, 2011.

Callin all Veterans!! We will be having a short Veteran's Parade from the corner of 9th Street and 3rd Avenue West to the Museum beginning at 10:50 am.

The official ceremony to open our new exhibit will start at 11:00 am following the review of the parade prior to dismissal.

These events will be followed by our Veterans BBQ at 12 noon, where all preregistered Veterans will eat free.  The BBQ lunch will consist of 2 hot dogs or 1 hamburger, cake, veggies and dip, and drinks.  Cost for the public will be $5, all Veterans eat FREE!

There will also be a gift shop tent sale so stop by and see what you can pick up for your favourite flyer!
